Netflix’s hard‑hitting drama Adolescence continued its awards run in London this week, leading BAFTA Television nominations on March 24, 2026 with 11 nods and then securing multiple gongs at the Royal Television Society (RTS) Programme Awards on March 25.
At the RTS ceremony hosted by Tom Allen at JW Marriott Grosvenor House, Adolescence won Best Limited Series; co‑creator Stephen Graham and Jack Thorne took Best Writer – Drama; and 16‑year‑old Owen Cooper won both the Breakthrough Award and Supporting Actor (Male) for his portrayal of Jamie Miller.
The show’s cast also picked up supporting acting nominations for Ashley Walters and Christine Tremarco; Erin Doherty earned dual BAFTA attention for roles in Adolescence and A Thousand Blows.
The series, which has already claimed Emmys, Golden Globes and Critics’ Choice prizes, has continued to spark national debate about online misogyny and youth radicalisation.
The BAFTA Television Awards are scheduled for May 10 at London’s Southbank Centre, where Adolescence remains the frontrunner across performance and craft categories.
