A wave of media reports beginning with a Daily Mail exposé (March 31, 2026) alleged that Bryon Noem, husband of former U.S. Homeland Security Secretary Kristi Noem, exchanged hundreds of messages with adult performers and posted photographs showing him cross-dressed with large fake breasts as part of a “bimbofication” fetish.
Multiple models told outlets they received paid sessions (reported up to $25 per minute) and recognized Noem; one said he acknowledged knowing about rumors of his wife’s alleged affair with former adviser Corey Lewandowski.
Bryon has not issued a full denial, telling the New York Times he would “at some point” speak, and reportedly disputed claims he exposed his wife to blackmail.
Kristi Noem’s camp said the family was “blindsided” and sought privacy.
Washington insiders and several outlets reported that the behavior was whispered about in D.C. for months.
The revelations have provoked online backlash, harassment of family members, a surge in searches for “bimbofication,” and fresh scrutiny of ethics and security: People and other outlets also reported a federal watchdog probe into Lewandowski’s time at DHS and audits of contract decisions made under Noem’s tenure.
