Delta Air Lines on April 13–14 unveiled a redesigned Delta One business-class suite that will debut on Airbus A350-1000 jets arriving in early 2027 and be retrofitted across A330-200/-300 aircraft.
The next-generation suites feature beds about three inches longer (extending to more than 6.5 feet), a pillow-top over memory-foam mattress, additional knee and leg room, dedicated shoe storage, an in-bed phone tray and a hook for glasses.
New cabins will include 24-inch high-definition seatback screens with Bluetooth, USB-C and universal AC power, fast free Wi‑Fi, and a self‑service snack station in Delta One.
Delta has 20 A350-1000s on order (with several expected in 2027), plans to begin A330 retrofits in September with the first re-entering service in December, and aims to have roughly 90% of Delta One seats configured as suites with doors by 2030.
The overhaul is part of a more-than-$1 billion fleet-investment program and comes amid intensifying competition from United and American as premium ticket revenue has risen for Delta.
