📰 Full Story
Blizzard launched Overwatch’s Reign of Talon — Season 2: Summit — on April 14, 2026, introducing a new damage hero, Sierra, post-match accolades, a reworked Antarctica map, perk adjustments for heroes such as Reaper and Mercy, and new mythic cosmetics for Soldier: 76 and Genji.
The release also rolled out a native Nintendo Switch 2 build that Blizzard says offers improved visuals, audio and up to 60 frames per second in docked and handheld modes.
However, players and independent testers reported the Switch 2 upgrade running at a 30fps cap and degraded image clarity in some cases.
Blizzard acknowledged the lower-than-intended FPS limit on its forums and said a patch is in development, while also noting other Switch 2-specific issues including keybinds, Mystery Heroes settings and cosmetic bugs.
The update is available on PC, current and previous PlayStation and Xbox consoles, and the Switch 2, as Blizzard continues a year-long narrative relaunch after rebranding the title earlier this year.
