Chelsea midfielder Moises Caicedo has agreed a new, lucrative contract that is understood to run until 2033, extending his stay at Stamford Bridge.
The 24-year-old Ecuador international joined from Brighton in 2023 in a deal worth up to ÂŁ115 million and had signed an eight-year contract on arrival; the fresh terms include an improved wage package and are part of a series of high-profile renewals at the club following captain Reece Jamesâs new deal.
Caicedo has been an ever-present performer, making more than 140 appearances for Chelsea and playing 42 times this season, and is regarded by the club as a central figure and one of its leaders.
The signing follows internal unrest â notably Enzo FernĂĄndezâs two-game internal suspension after comments linking him to Real Madrid â and comes as Chelsea chase Champions League qualification while ownership seeks to steady supporter confidence amid protests and scrutiny of transfer strategy.
