Former Little Mix singer Jesy Nelson appealed on April 19, 2026, after a vehicle containing hospital equipment for her infant twin daughters was stolen from her driveway in Brentwood, Essex.
The black 4x4, registration JJ73SSY, was taken in the early hours — last seen on camera near Chelmsford at about 03:00 BST, according to Nelson’s social media updates.
She has offered a £10,000 reward for information leading to the recovery of the vehicle and the vital kit.
Nelson’s daughters, Ocean Jade and Story Monroe Nelson‑Foster, born in May 2025, have been diagnosed with spinal muscular atrophy (SMA) type 1, a severe genetic condition requiring specialised medical devices.
Nelson has campaigned for newborn screening for SMA and launched a petition that gathered more than 100,000 signatures; she met Health Secretary Wes Streeting earlier this year and welcomed the decision to roll out SMA screening across parts of England from October 2026.
Essex Police was contacted but said it was unable to comment on the suspected theft.
