Burger King will roll out a limited-time Mandalorian and Grogu menu tied to the feature film Star Wars: The Mandalorian and Grogu, which opens May 22.
Participating U.S. restaurants will begin offering a themed kids’ King Jr.
Meal on April 28 that includes a hamburger or four-piece nugget, applesauce, kids’ fries, milk or apple juice and a Mandalorian-themed toy.
The adult menu and merchandising push start on Star Wars Day, May 4, and feature the BBQ Bounty Whopper (served in a helmet-shaped carton), Grogu’s Blue Cookie Shake (soft serve with blue sugar cookie syrup and blue cookies), Grogu’s Garlic Chicken Fries with garlic dipping sauce, and Imperial Cheddar Ranch Tots.
Burger King will also offer four collectible cups available with certain combos and a Bounty Bundle box that packages multiple items.
Burger King U.S. and Canada CMO Joel Yashinsky and Jan Coleman of The Walt Disney Studios framed the promotion as a family-focused tie-in to bring fans into restaurants ahead of the theatrical release.
