Kendrick Lamar and Dr.
Dre returned to Centennial High School in Compton, California, for a ceremonial groundbreaking on May 7, joining will.i.am and local officials including Congresswoman Maxine Waters.
The event marked the start of a long-planned campus rebuild ā described by organizers as the school districtās first major construction project in roughly 70 years and a multi-hundred-million-dollar redevelopment scheduled to open in 2029.
Dr.
