On May 10, 2026 at the BAFTA TV Awards in London’s Royal Festival Hall, Seth Rogen accepted the prize for Best International Series for Apple TV’s satire The Studio and dedicated the award to his late co-star Catherine O’Hara.
Rogen, 44, paid tribute to O’Hara, saying she “meant so much to all of us,” and noted her generous contribution to the show; O’Hara died on January 30 at age 71.
The Studio beat fellow Apple TV contenders including Severance and Pluribus.
Rogen mixed humour with poignancy in his speech, referencing a viral moment involving actress Celia Imrie during the ceremony.
O’Hara — celebrated for roles in Schitt’s Creek, Home Alone and Beetlejuice — had earlier been honoured posthumously at the Actor Awards in March.
Variety noted O’Hara was not included in the BAFTA TV Awards’ ‘In Memory’ segment because she had been included in the film awards’ tribute in February.
Rogen’s on-stage dedication reiterated industry recognition of O’Hara’s late-career turn as producer Patty Leigh on the series.
