Reality star Taylor Frankie Paul used a Mother’s Day Instagram post to accuse a former friend and co-star of betrayal as she continues a public legal fight over custody of her two-year-old son, Ever.
Paul posted May 10th after a Utah hearing that expanded her parent-time to roughly 12 hours a week and granted an extended Mother’s Day visit; the April 30 hearing also produced mutual protective orders.
Paul referenced past arrests and a widely circulated 2023 video of an alleged altercation with ex Dakota Mortensen that prompted the cancellation of her planned appearance on The Bachelorette and halted production on Hulu’s The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives.
Costar Mikayla Matthews said she tried to remain “removed” from the dispute; Paul accused her of “kicking while I’m already down,” calling the behavior disloyal.
Producers have resumed filming on the show but Paul has not returned to cameras.
Local prosecutors previously declined to file charges in recent investigations, and the parents are due back in court June 1 for further parenting-time recommendations.
