Ferrari unveiled the Luce on May 25, 2026 in Rome, marking the Italian marque’s first fully electric production model and a major strategic shift under CEO Benedetto Vigna.
The four-door, five‑seat Luce was developed with design house LoveFrom (co-founded by Jony Ive and Marc Newson) and features a bespoke Maranello powertrain: four independent electric motors (one per wheel) producing roughly 1,035–1,050 hp, a 122 kWh battery on an 800‑volt architecture with up to 350 kW charging, and a claimed 0–100 km/h time of about 2.5 seconds and top speed near 310 kph (193 mph). Ferrari says range exceeds 500 km under its estimates and has filed multiple patents tied to the car.
The company fitted a system that amplifies real drivetrain vibrations to create a distinctive EV soundtrack and has scaled back its 2030 EV mix target to 20% of the lineup.
Ferrari plans initial deliveries from October 2026, with some markets receiving cars later; the firm has delayed a second EV to at least 2028 amid uncertain demand for high‑end electric sports cars.
