📰 Full Story
Taylor Swift has announced an original song, "I Knew It, I Knew You," for Disney-Pixar’s Toy Story 5.
The single is scheduled for release on June 5, ahead of the film’s global theatrical debut on June 19.
Swift co-wrote and produced the track with longtime collaborator Jack Antonoff; Disney and director Andrew Stanton say the song was inspired by Jessie, the cowgirl character, and marks a return to Swift’s country roots.
Swift’s website is offering three collector CD single variants — original, acoustic and piano versions — available for pre-order.
The announcement followed weeks of fan speculation fueled by Toy Story–style billboards bearing the initials “TS” and 13 clouds, countdowns on Swift’s site and alterations to her streaming artwork.
Pixar and Swift initially declined to confirm rumours, with filmmakers saying late-stage mixes had not included her on the end credits; the studios and artists now describe the collaboration as a natural fit.
The rollout coincides with other casting and marketing news for the film, including a reported cameo by Bad Bunny and publicity themes that touch on children’s screentime.
