Actor Dylan Sprouse confronted and restrained an alleged trespasser on the grounds of the Hollywood Hills home he shares with his wife, model Barbara Palvin, in the early hours of April 17, 2026.
Palvin called 911 at about 12:30 a.m. local time after spotting a man on the property, the Los Angeles Police Department said.
Sprouse tackled the individual and held him until officers arrived.
Sources and outlets differ on whether Sprouse held the man at gunpoint; LAPD has said he was armed but did not draw his weapon.
The suspect did not enter the residence and was taken into custody on outstanding warrants unrelated to the reported trespass.
No injuries were reported.
Representatives for Sprouse and Palvin have not issued a public statement.
NBC News reported Sprouse declined prosecution.
Video published by some outlets appears to show officers handcuffing a blurred suspect outside the home.
The incident underscores heightened security concerns for high-profile residents in Los Angeles neighborhoods.
