📰 Full Story
Olivia Rodrigo made a surprise appearance during Addison Rae’s Coachella Weekend Two set on April 18, joining the social-media star on the festival’s main stage in Indio, California.
Rodrigo first duetted with Rae on Rae’s 2025 single “Headphones On,” then performed Rodrigo’s newly released lead single “Drop Dead” live for the first time.
The single and its Petra Collins-directed video, filmed at the Palace of Versailles, were released the previous day as the first taste of Rodrigo’s forthcoming third album, You Seem Pretty Sad for a Girl So in Love, due June 12 via Geffen Records.
Rodrigo, wearing a custom pink leather top and jeans, traded lines with Rae and shared the stage’s runway into the crowd; Rae earlier included dancer Maddie Ziegler in her set.
The surprise cameo continues a Coachella trend of high-profile guest spots during the festival’s second weekend, which also featured Madonna with Sabrina Carpenter and several other pop collaborations.
Rodrigo is set to host and perform on Saturday Night Live on May 2 as part of the album’s promotion.
