San Antonio Spurs swingman Keldon Johnson was voted the NBA’s Sixth Man of the Year on April 22, 2026, receiving 63 of 100 first-place votes and 404 points from a media panel.
Johnson averaged 13.2 points and 5.4 rebounds per game while shooting 51.9% from the field and 36.3% from three, coming off the bench in all 82 regular-season games.
He set a Spurs franchise mark with 1,081 points as a reserve, surpassing Manu Ginóbili, and became the only other Spur to win the award.
Miami’s Jaime Jaquez Jr. finished second (34 first-place votes, 331 points) and Tim Hardaway Jr. placed third.
Johnson, the longest-tenured Spur and a member of the U.S. Olympic gold team in Tokyo, is credited with energizing the bench and fostering locker-room culture.
His award is the second individual honor for San Antonio this week after Victor Wembanyama was named Defensive Player of the Year.
