Patent-based renders and leaks on May 11, 2026 suggest Samsung is developing a follow-up to its Galaxy Z TriFold with a built-in S Pen pocket integrated into a hinge.
Shared designs, traced to a leak by XLeaks7 and reported across tech outlets, show a tri-fold display with two hinge lines and a vertical stylus slot placed in the middle of the right hinge, which would position the S Pen near the centre when unfolded.
The filings also indicate a centred hole-punch front camera on the right panel.
The disclosure comes as Samsung appears to have paused global sales of the original Galaxy Z TriFold, launched in December 2025 and sold in select markets including South Korea, China, Taiwan, Singapore, the UAE and the US. The first TriFold featured a roughly 10-inch inner Dynamic AMOLED 2X display, Snapdragon 8 Elite for Galaxy, up to 16GB RAM and a 5,600mAh battery; the leaked concept is patent-based and may differ from a final product.
