The Hawkstone Farmers Choir, a 32‑strong group assembled by TV presenter Jeremy Clarkson, was crowned the winner of Britain’s Got Talent’s 19th series in the live final at London’s Eventim Apollo on May 30, 2026.
The choir — the first choir in the show’s history to win — performed an original song, “This Is Home,” and took the public prize of £250,000 plus a slot at this year’s Royal Variety Performance after a contest that attracted more than one million viewer votes.
Judges Simon Cowell, Amanda Holden, Alesha Dixon and KSI presided as hosts Ant McPartlin and Declan Donnelly announced the result.
Drone art collective Celestial finished second and dog act Anastasiia & Salsa came third.
Clarkson, who helped form the group originally for an advert for his Hawkstone beer brand, was seen in tears during the final.
While many praised the choir and its campaign to highlight farmers’ mental‑health issues and rural isolation, the result prompted boos in the audience and a stream of social‑media accusations that the outcome was a “fix” because of Clarkson’s profile and ties to ITV.
