Crystal Dynamics and Flying Wild Hog’s reimagining of the 1996 classic, Tomb Raider: Legacy of Atlantis, has been pushed into 2027 and is now scheduled to launch on February 12, 2027.
The delay was confirmed during Sony’s State of Play broadcast on June 2, 2026.
The Unreal Engine 5-powered remake will release simultaneously on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, PC (Steam) and the upcoming Nintendo Switch 2.
Pre-orders are live: the Standard Edition is priced at $59.99 and the Deluxe Edition at $69.99 (which includes 48-hour early access, a Parisian Fugitive outfit and a post-launch story DLC pack); a Collector’s Edition with physical collectibles and extras is also offered.
The game rebuilds iconic locations such as Peru’s Lost Valley into larger, interconnected environments, modernises puzzles and combat, and preserves set pieces including dinosaur encounters.
Legacy of Atlantis will also lead into a new original Tomb Raider title, Catalyst, currently slated for release in 2027.

The move pushes Legacy out of its planned 2026 slot into a crowded Feb 2027, where marketing attention and ad inventory will be constrained. Although avoiding a blockbuster release is a common industry tactic, no confirmed source ties this delay directly to GTA6.
