📰 Full Story
Re-Logic has released Terraria 1.4.5, the “Bigger and Boulder” update, worldwide on Jan. 27, 2026, marking the game’s 15th anniversary and capping a three-year development cycle.
The expansive patch adds more than 650 new items—bringing the total to over 6,000—new enemies, mounts, music tracks and a major crafting and inventory overhaul.
A new official Skyblock world seed, a redesigned world-seed menu that allows seed combinations, and numerous secret seeds broaden replayability.
The update also includes crossover content with Dead Cells and Palworld, new QoL features (spectator mode, housing changes, chest-integrated crafting), and platform parity work intended to pave the way for future cross-play.
On launch day SteamDB reported a near-165,000 concurrent-player peak on PC; console and mobile figures are not public.
Re-Logic said the patch is rolling out across PC, console and mobile, though the China mobile rollout is delayed for technical and localization reasons.
