📰 Full Story
Kacey Musgraves was announced April 14 as a last-minute addition to Coachella’s second weekend, set to perform a 50-minute surprise slot at the Mojave Tent on Saturday, April 18 from 3:00 to 3:50 p.m.
PT in Indio, California.
The appearance comes as Musgraves prepares to release her seventh studio album, Middle of Nowhere, on May 1 via Lost Highway Records; the 13-track record features collaborations with Willie Nelson, Miranda Lambert, Billy Strings and Gregory Alan Isakov and follows the recent single “Dry Spell.” In tandem with the Coachella announcement, Musgraves launched an Instagram account, @spaceysightings, to document alleged UFO sightings she says she has experienced, and she drew additional attention by sharing a parody AI image mocking former President Donald Trump’s criticized post — replacing his depicted Christ figure with Dolly Parton.
Multiple outlets reported the additions and social posts on April 15, 2026.
