BLACKPINK member Jennie has been named to Time magazine’s TIME100 list of the 100 Most Influential People for 2026, the magazine announced on April 15.
Jennie is the only South Korean on this year’s roster and appears in the “Artists” category with an introductory essay by singer-songwriter Gracie Abrams, who praised Jennie’s stage presence, warmth and distinctive persona.
The recognition follows Jennie’s growing solo profile: she released her debut solo album Ruby in 2025, has logged Billboard Hot 100 entries through collaborations and remixes, and made an acting appearance in HBO’s The Idol.
Time noted her influence across music, fashion and pop culture; Jennie is also scheduled to headline major international festivals in 2026, including Governors Ball (New York), Mad Cool (Madrid), Lollapalooza (Chicago) and Summer Sonic (Tokyo/Osaka). Her inclusion on Time100 highlights the expansion of her individual brand beyond BLACKPINK and signals continued global demand for K-pop artists as headline attractions for music and lifestyle markets.
