NBCUniversal has canceled Law & Order: Organized Crime after five seasons, the company and outlets reported on April 16, 2026.
The spinoff, which revived Christopher Meloniâs SVU character Elliot Stabler, debuted in 2021, ran four seasons on NBC and moved to Peacock for a 10-episode fifth season that premiered in mid-April 2025 and concluded in June 2025.
The series produced 75 episodes in total and was made by Universal Television in association with Wolf Entertainment.
Key season-five cast members included Danielle Moné Truitt, Ainsley Seiger, Rick Gonzalez and Dean Norris.
Behind the scenes the show experienced frequent leadership turnover â five different showrunners across five seasons â a factor cited by trade reporting as contributing to its instability.
Peacock gave the series a streaming home for season five and NBC aired an encore run in late 2025, but a planned search for a new showrunner did not yield a path to renewal.
Deadline first reported the cancellation.
Christopher Meloni is lined up to star in Dan Fogelmanâs NFL drama The Land for Hulu.
With Organized Crime ending, Law & Order: SVU remains the primary active spinoff in the franchise.
