Madonna officially released I Feel So Free on April 17, 2026, the first full track from her forthcoming album Confessions II, hours after a surprise appearance with Sabrina Carpenter during Coachella Weekend Two.
The song premiered on iHeartRadioās Pride station, was serviced to selected DJs and clubs, and hit streaming services shortly after midnight following the festival appearance.
The trancelike, house-driven track reunites Madonna with producer Stuart Price and evokes the sound of her 2005 Confessions on a Dance Floor era.
Label materials say I Feel So Free is a first taste of Confessions II, not the lead single.
Warner-backed Confessions II is scheduled for release on July 3, 2026, and Spotifyās countdown lists 16 tracks; physical formats include multiple vinyl configurations.
The release marks Madonnaās first full-length project since 2019ās Madame X and follows her re-signing with Warner Bros.
Records in September 2025.
During the Coachella cameo she performed Vogue and Like a Prayer alongside Carpenter, her first festival performance there in roughly 20 years.
