Madonna said on April 20 that several vintage costume pieces she wore during a surprise appearance with Sabrina Carpenter at Coachella’s Weekend Two on April 17 have gone missing.
In an Instagram story the pop star said the items — pulled from her personal archives and including a jacket, corset, dress, boots and other garments she said were the same pieces she wore at her Coachella set two decades earlier — were gone after the Main Stage duet in Indio, California.
Madonna called the garments “part of my history,” offered a reward for their safe return and provided an email, infomaverick2026@gmail.com, for tips.
The appearance, which featured duets of “Vogue” and “Like a Prayer” and a debut of a new track from her forthcoming album Confessions II (due July 3), was widely covered; manager Guy Oseary called the moment “full circle.” Multiple outlets also reported Madonna said other archival items from the same era were missing.
Festival organisers have not publicly commented on the reported theft.
