Baroness Karren Brady has stepped down as vice-chair of Premier League club West Ham United after 16 years on the board.
The departure, publicly confirmed by the club on April 21, follows a mid-April exit from board duties.
Brady, 57, joined in January 2010 and played a central role in the clubâs move from Upton Park to the London Stadium in 2016, the British-record sale of Declan Rice and West Hamâs 2022-23 UEFA Europa Conference League triumph.
The decision comes with the Hammers embroiled in a relegation fight â sitting just above the drop zone with five matches remaining â and amid sustained fan protests over on-field form and the clubâs finances.
West Ham joint-chairs Daniel KĹetĂnskĂ˝ and David Sullivan paid tribute to her contribution, while Brady said she will focus on other business interests, mentoring initiatives and her role in the House of Lords.
Recent accounts showed heavy losses at the club and falling revenue, adding urgency to boardroom and sporting decisions as the season reaches its finale.
