On April 21, 2026, Elisabeth Murdoch and Jane Featherstone’s Sister Group announced it has taken a majority stake in London-based, digital-first production company After Party Studios.
Financial terms were not disclosed.
Founded in 2016 by YouTuber Callum McGinley (Callux), director Ben Doyle (Rvbberduck), CEO Joshua Barnett and Base79 founder Richard Mansell, After Party produces creator-led formats, branded entertainment and social-first content for streamers, broadcasters and brands.
Credits include Sky Sports’ Scenes, Channel 4.0’s Don’t Get Catfished, the sell-out Sidemen Charity Match at Wembley, and social support for Netflix shows such as House of Guinness and Stranger Things.
Upcoming projects cited by the companies include In Search of Peace with Jordan Stephens, Race To The Top (a docuseries on KSI’s takeover of Dagenham & Redbridge FC) and the social rollout for SNL U.K.’s Five To Live.
Sister said the investment will “supercharge” After Party’s original IP and deepen collaborations across its TV, film, podcasting, publishing and live-experience arms.
The deal was brokered internally by Sister COO Chris Fry and After Party’s leadership; legal and financial advisers included CMS, Harbottle & Lewis and Waypoint Partners.
