Capcom released a patch for Resident Evil Requiem on March 27, 2026 that adds a new photo mode across all platforms and implements several fixes and tweaks.
Photo mode is accessible from the pause menu and lets players reposition the camera, change character poses and facial expressions, apply filters and stickers, and capture composed shots of protagonists such as Leon and Grace.
The update also remedies a progress-blocking bug, corrects typographical and localisation errors, removes an infinite-ammo exploit, and fixes PC-specific crashes and visual issues tied to certain GPU drivers.
Capcom noted adjustments to character expressions in some cutscenes āto better convey emotion.ā The patch arrives after Requiem became the fastest-selling title in the franchise, surpassing six million copies shortly after its February 27 launch.
Capcom has also confirmed a story expansion and a new minigame are in development, part of continued post-launch support for the title.
