A Japanese gamer using the handle Tqvry has become the first verified person to earn the Platinum Trophy in Ninja Gaiden Sigma 2 Plus on the PlayStation Vita, a feat reported across gaming outlets and confirmed on community tracker PSNProfiles.
The milestone, achieved and livestreamed on March 27â28, 2026, capped a 20-month effort and included a nearly 10-hour final run.
The Vita port, released in 2013, retained co-op trophy requirements but lacks online multiplayer, forcing players to rely on an often unreliable AI partner while completing all duo missions on Turbo (1.5x) speedâconditions that made the Dynamic Duo trophy exceptionally difficult.
Tqvryâs final attempt benefited from an unintentional in-game glitch that immobilised one boss during a three-boss fight, allowing the player to finish the encounter.
While some prior Platinum unlocks on the title were flagged as non-legit, Tqvryâs streamed evidence and PSNProfiles listing mark this as the first verifiable legitimate completion of the Vita Platinum.
