San Antonio forced a winner-take-all Game 7 in the Western Conference finals after routing the defending-champion Oklahoma City Thunder 118-91 on May 29, evening the series at 3-3.
Victor Wembanyama led the Spurs with 28 points, 10 rebounds and three blocks in a dominant performance that included a 20-0 third-quarter run that put the game out of reach.
Shai Gilgeous-Alexander, who helped OKC to last seasonâs title, was limited to 15 points on 6-of-18 shooting and is 37.9% from the field in the series.
Game 7 is scheduled for Saturday night in Oklahoma City (8 p.m.
ET), televised on NBC and streaming on Peacock.
Oklahoma City enters as a narrow favorite in part because of home-court history and playoff experience; questions remain over Jalen Williamsâ hamstring and Ajay Mitchellâs calf.
The winner will advance to face the New York Knicks in the NBA Finals beginning next week.
