📰 Full Story
Filmmaker Eli Roth released the official trailer on June 3, 2026 for Ice Cream Man, a slasher that depicts an idyllic summer town descending into violence after children eat ice cream from a mysterious vendor.
The trailer shows children exhibiting increasingly disturbing behaviour — looming over sleeping parents, making “snow angels” in pools of blood and attacking adults with axes and other weapons.
The film stars Ari Millen in the title role and features Benjamin Byron Davis, Karen Cliche, Dylan Hawco, Sarah Abbott, Shiloh O’Reilly, Kiori Mirza Waldman, Charlie Zeltzer and Charlie Storey.
Roth co-wrote, directed and produced the movie with longtime collaborator Noah Belson; Kate Harrison produces through Cream Productions and the project is the first release under Roth’s The Horror Section banner (launched in 2025). The score is by Brandon Roberts with additional music contributions from Snoop Dogg; prosthetic makeup work is credited to Steve Newburn and Academy Award-winner Adrien Morot.
Ice Cream Man is scheduled to open in roughly 2,000 North American theatres via Iconic Events Releasing on Aug. 7, 2026.
